Soros Philanthropy: The Next Generation

Alexander Soros, son of the billionaire philanthropist George Soros, has established his own foundation to support organizations promoting social justice and human rights. The foundation will finance "more experimental and perhaps controversial projects that larger mainstream foundations might not be able to take on," Soros said. "Philanthropy is not the answer to every problem, but it can be a catalyst for change." Its first grants have been made to National Domestic Workers Alliance and Make the Road New York. Read more.
